Bio
David Indolese joined IBM Research laboratory in Rüschlikon, Zürich, in 2021, where he is part of the Quantum Transduction and Photonics group. With his background on semiconducting-superconducting hybrid devices, he contributes to simulation, nanofabrication, and microwave characterization of optomechanical and electro-optical quantum transduction devices.
In the course of his PhD at the University of Basel, he was engineering and measuring van der Waals heterostructures based Josephson junctions to investigate novel topological states in 2D materials by the interplay of superconductivity and the quantum Hall effect.
