Michael Kaufmann

I am a software engineer with a focus on efficient scheduling and resource management of distributed cloud and serverless 2.0 applications. I am especially interested in making it easier for the user to run applications more efficiently and to reduce resource waste and cost.

In the past I have worked on many topics, such as hardware design, implementation and test (Blue Gene/Q CPU & network), firmware and Linux kernel development, FPGA development and distributed memory, storage and file systems.
