Bio
Tong is a Research Software Engineer in the Climate and Sustainability team, working on the back-end development of the team's various platforms for Geo-spatial analytics. Before joining Research, she was in Infrastructure, adapting a Kubernetes worker node image for IBM LinuxOne, where she enjoyed shell scripting and building various CI/CD pipelines.
Before joining IBM, she studied Mathematics at Wake Forest University, NC, and Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Outside of work, you could usually find her practicing her very-loud violin and trying to bring some smiles to her neighbors' faces.
