A semantics-based method for requirements analysis and system design
Abstract
A method of requirements analysis and system design is described that supports and promotes the design and construction of highly flexible data processing systems. The method provides for (1) the systematic collection, analysis, and description of data processing requirements in terms of an organized common-sense semantic model and (2) the smooth and natural mapping of the requirements into a flexible, normal form system architecture. The method is illustrated with a case study.
