Computing Utilization in the complex environment

Abstract

Utilization of capacity is important for the organization to manage both operations and cost. Although fundamental metrics, the complexity in the process as well as data makes it harder for large organization to effectively compute the utilization without manual intervention. We will take few such examples and discuss how we overcame several such complexities to develop the model that provided deep insight into the utilization at one of the business.
