High-density optical interconnect based on precisely fabricated mirror attached waveguide

Abstract

We present a high density optical interconnect based on precisely fabricated mirror attached waveguide on a printed circuit board. The structure, fabrication, and performance of 12-channel transmitter and receiver operating at 8-10 Gbps are presented. © 2008 Optical Society of America.
