Interactive computer analysis of nuclear backscattering spectra
Abstract
A review will be made of a computer-based interactive nuclear backscattering analysis system. Users without computer experience can develop moderate competence with the system after only brief instruction because of the menu-driven organization. Publishable quality figures can be obtained without any computer expertise. Among the quantities which can be displayed over the data are depth scales for any element, element identification, relative concentrations and theoretical spectra. Captions and titling can made from a selection of 30 font styles. Lettering is put on the graphs under joy-stick control such that placement is exact without needing complicated commands. © 1983.
