Many antenna types can be used for laptop integrated wireless applications. However, the most popular ones are the inverted-F (INF) and slot antennas, or the variations of these two types due to their simple design, easy integration, low cost and overall performance. The decision to choose which antenna is environment, volume and application dependent.
