Pressure dependence of the Curie temperature of ferromagnetic metals

Abstract

It is shown that according to the indirect exchange theory of ferromagnetic metals the pressure dependence of the Curie temperature is related to certain properties of the conduction electrons. A number of experiments are suggested to further our understanding of the problem. © 1962 The American Physical Society.
