STEPPING MOTOR TECHNOLOGY: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.
Abstract
The paper briefly states the present status and speculates about the future of stepping motor technology. Damping of the oscillatory step was achieved using viscous, inertial or friction dampers. Original work in trying to improve the performance and increase the torque to inertia ratio of hybrid motors. Evaluating the behavior led to the delayed last step technique.
