Visual venture: investigations with images and videos for middle school education

Abstract

Novel techniques in image/video processing that enable students to take sophisticated measurements on a wide range of imagery are demonstrated. Examples, including, color-based interactive segmentation, color-based global area segmentation, digital strobe video process, and digital probe photo process, are considered.
