Bio
Efrat Hexter is IBM Research Strategy Lead, leading the development of foundation models for Drug Discovery. Efrat manages an AI healthcare and life science team for the Israel research lab. Efrat joined IBM Research six years ago, where she was leading the multimodal AI team in healthcare and life science. Before that, she was a Watson solution Architect, helping companies build AI applications using Watson technologies. Efrat has 20 years of experience in software development, spanning various fields, Worked in startups and IBM developing product to fortune 500 hundred companies.
