Dr. Felix Schupp joined the Quantum technology and computing group at IBM Research Europe - Zurich in 2021. He works on semiconductor spin-qubits with a focus on fabrication and materials characterization.
Felix holds a PhD from the University of Oxford, where he studied radio-frequency read-out of quantum devices made from silicon nanowires, quantum dots in GaAs/AlGaAs heterostructures and carbon nanotubes.
For his postdoc he moved to the University of Princeton where he worked with electron-spin qubits in Si/SiGe heterostructures. During his postdoc he also studied read-out and coupling of spin-qubits via superconducting resonators and the 3D integration of hybrid superconductor/semiconductor devices.
