Bio

Nicklas Körtge is a full-stack software engineer in the security department of the IBM Research Lab in Zurich. He holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and is currently working on the topic of Cryptographic Discovery and CBOM in the Post-Quantum Cryptography research group.

Publications and Contributions

Nicklas is actively involved in several open-source projects related to cryptography and security, including:

  • IBM/sonar-cryptography: A SonarQube plugin for detecting cryptographic assets in source code
  • IBM/cbomkit: A toolset for working with Cryptography Bill of Materials (CBOM)
  • IBM/cbomkit-theia: A tool for detecting cryptographic assets in container images
  • IBM/CBOM: Cryptography Bill of Materials (CBOM)

Public Speaking

Nicklas presented his work at the OWASP Global AppSec Lisbon 2024, where he gave a talk on "Cryptographic Governance: Software Supply Chain Security with CBOM".
