DP INSTALLATION (COMPUTER ROOMS) ENVIRONMENT.
Abstract
The Warwick Computing Centre, built in 1978 was originally designed to accommodate the Computing Services division of IBM UK. This was maintained until 3 years ago when the two major users split into separate functions and concentrated on their own particular objectives. The main issues are the location design issues, operation productivity, and the computer room and its future role.
